Explore a future in ownership. Foley Vision Center is seeking a personable, clinically strong optometrist to join our independent, doctor-owned practice in Amesbury, MA. This position begins part-time, with the possibility of adding days, moving into a full-time role, and exploring future practice ownership as the relationship develops. A practice where you can make a difference Work directly with Matthew Foley, OD, a New England College of Optometry graduate with more than 20 years of clinical experience. Our practice combines personal attention, an established patient community, and a strong interest in technology that supports thoughtful clinical care. What you will find here: • Two exam lanes and a fully digital practice using Barti EHR. • Diagnostic resources including OCT, widefield retinal imaging, electroretinography, visual field testing, autorefraction/keratometry, and digital refraction. • An experienced office manager and clinical and optical support team. • An on-site optical department and opportunities to build continuing relationships with patients and families. • A varied clinical mix, including comprehensive examinations, contact lenses, pediatric care, dry eye, diabetic eye care, glaucoma management, and urgent eye concerns. • A community-minded practice with local school vision-screening involvement. • A creative atmosphere that also includes Eye Candy Iris™, our custom iris photography business. Your role Provide thorough examinations, diagnose and manage ocular conditions within Massachusetts optometric scope, prescribe glasses and contact lenses, explain findings clearly, coordinate referrals when needed, and work closely with our team to deliver a welcoming patient experience. The opportunity can grow with you Start part-time, with days and hours discussed directly. Friday availability is especially welcome. Additional days and a possible full-time position may develop with patient demand and mutual interest.
